Hello Friend! I know this is a little late, but late is better than never. Right?
A few of these have already come out, obviously. The good news is you can still get them in hard back if you so wish it. I know I sure do love a hard back book with a gorgeous cover.
Let’s get into this.
May 3rd was a busy day, just look it up if you want to see what all released. I am not going to share them all because I am stingy and I only share what I am most looking forward to. 😛
The Rose and the Dagger by Renee Ahdieh
I haven’t even read the first book, but there was so much hype around it that I was afraid to read it before the second book came out. So in all reality, I can’t wait to read them both now.
A Court of Misty and Fury by Sarah J. Maas
Now this one…OMG I am so excited to dive into this book. I have already bought it and it is waiting for me to fall back into the world I loved in A Court of Thorns and Roses.
The Hidden Oracle by Rick Riordan
I just liked the cover of this one. Also after I read the description it sounded like an interesting story.
Artifacts, Dragons, and Other Lethal Magic by Meghan Ciana Doidge
Now, as some of you may know, I have been obsessed with this series the past couple of months. Just this month the next book in the series came out and I am freaking out. Mainly because I don’t want to read it and have to wait another year for the next book. Though, Meghan Ciana Doidge is an indie author, so maybe she will come out with one sooner than next year?
The Last Star by Rick Yancey
Okay, this may be one of my most anticipated books of 2016. I have pretty much been obsessed with The 5th Wave series since I read the first book, which of course was basically as soon as it released. I remember finding the 5th Wave at Target and instantly falling in love. I’m just sad that this series is finally coming to an end. I’m not sure I am ready for it.
Out Run the Moon by Stacey Lee
This is another book that is on this list because of the cover. It’s something I would love to put on my bookshelf. It also sounds pretty interesting. And, it’s labeled as historical fiction. I love just about anything that has to do with the Asian history/culture.
So tell me, what books are you looking forward to this month? Or even this year? Maybe I can add a few to my list for the following months.
