Fitness Sunday: Week 5

Fitness Sunday

This week has not been good at all. I have been eating all the candy! I am a stress eater. I get stressed, I eat. And for some reason I have been extremely stressed this week. So I don’t have anything new this week. I don’t have anything that I am doing different or any new tools I am using. I haven’t even read any fitness articles.

Where do you all go for fitness articles?

So, to keep this short and sweet I will let you know what my fitness goals for this week will be.

  1. Lose 2 pounds.
  2. No chocolate…There is a saying that goes: “There is no try, just do.” Didn’t Yoda say that?
  3. DDP Yoga at least twice.
  4. Eat more fruits and vegetables
  5. Stop buying junk food at work.
  6. Eat less meat. Fill up on vegetables.

I have to lose this weight. I have a long term goal in mind, to fit into a top I got for my birthday a few years ago. I want to be able to fit into it by my birthday this year. I will share a picture of it later. I just can’t seem to get my stress under control.

Any tips or tricks that you know, throw them my way. Please!?

    Actually a little piece of chocolate before you go to bed makes you lose weight. I read it somewhere and tried it. It did work. I was surprised. I don’t do it every nite but every now and then.

    The one thing that really helped with me was going through and purging all of my snacks (doritos, chocolate, and such) and replacing them with healthier substitutes. I’m terrible for absent-minded munching so having things I can snack on without feeling guilty about really helped. Another thing to try is swapping soda for something else. Doesn’t have to be water, just something else you really like drinking, because coke is my other huge healthiness weak spot. Good luck with your goals!

        Ahh yea I do love a good box of gummy snacks/candy/anything with sugar… hmm my favorite sweet snack right now is dried coconut strips. They sell them at walmart and have a little bit of sugar on them so they taste like healthnut candy ^.^ and as for soda, you are a much much stronger woman than I! XD
